Red Carpet Style: 2015 White House Correspondents’ Dinner
The who’s who of Washington, journalists, celebrities and other invites took off their suits and pencil skirts, closed those brief cases and called up their glam squad because tonight was all about them at the 2015 White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Famed CNN journalist Wolf Blitzer carried a certain poised and dignified look as he posed for photos in his black tuxedo with black bowtie combo, which of course was the most popular look for the men of the night. Super Bowl champ Russell Wilson added a bit of glam to his James Bond look by accessorizing with a pair of gold rimmed glasses that added a touch of clarity.
The hues of the night for the ladies were obviously fifty shades of gray and green. Some had sparkles, some had slits, some gave off cleavage but the bell of the ball goes to FLOTUS. Michelle Obama definitely served up a plate of fabulosity and edge all wrapped in one. Her look evolves daily, whether its her hair, her wardrobe or even her lip color. The FLOTUS is unpredictable when it comes to her style. A trendsetter that is here to stay, even after her reign of First Lady is over.
Actress, Hannah Davis’, green and blue sheer one-shoulder dress was a pleasant look on the carpet. She played peek-a-boo with a high slit and her nicely chiseled thigh, while her chest screamed for more attention as it was strategically hidden behind a wrap of sheer fabric.
From one spectrum of the color wheel to the next, we found Blackish star Tracee Ellis Ross in a tantalizing and energetic sun-kissed gown complete with a matching superwoman cape. Her fashion powers will stop you in your tracks, and if you don’t pay attention to every move she makes in fashion then you might lose sight of this season’s sexiest trends.
